Today I’ve spent seven hours sitting exams. Chinese Studies was a pile of bullshit, as usual, but at least I’ll get a good grade. Bio was… simply terrible. I screwed paper 2 badly, first of all coz I only wrote one question (instead of two) in part B and only realized 10 minutes before time was up. Screwed up the answer, obviously. 20 fucking marks! The rest of the paper wasn’t any better, loads of stuff that I studied but couldn’t recall. Same for paper 3, mixed up concepts and a lot of bullshit. In Bettina’s words “I’d never be that creative in Bio!”. Doesn’t really matter that much, except coz I feel I’ve wasted a whole week, with all the time and effort I invested on Bio (which used to be my straight-7 subject) and bad perspective for the future (i.e. final IB, the REAL one).
There’s also the bad ambiance here because of the new staff interdorming + noise rule… and Chinmay got caught with Judith and is leaving. Just meet him with his mum, he hug me and, even though I wasn’t that close to him, I felt really sorry for him. Just can wish him good luck now
Anyway… things don’t end here, spent the whole evening after dinner with Alaa trying to figure out what we’re gonna do for P.W. Coz yeah, he got his visas, but we don’t have flights. We couldn’t get flights back on Sun coz he had to wait for the visa, now the only affordable ones come back on Mon and we’re not allowed to come back that late. Talked to Steve & Hayley for credit card issues, with Wendy for possible (not accepted) A-leave, and finally surfed the web trying to find a solution. We couldn’t. Tomorrow we gotta phone the agency and try to find a flight on Sun or Sat (Fri would be to early if we also want to go to an island in Malaysia). In the end we’ll have to pay a lot more and come back early. Shit! –update: we sorted that up… at least!
And… yeah, last but not least, my Chem mock is on Mon and I haven’t started studying. I’m gonna try to study 8 topics tomorrow which is just crazy and, I know it for sure, impossible at least for me, a dumb in Chem matters… screwed, screwed, SCREWED!!!
